Sponsorships How to Begin (IFM #121)

In this session, you’ll learn how to assess your sponsorship potential and generate a plan for turning ideas into dollars. Learn how to identify opportunities and prospects and create proposals. Relevant case studies will be shared.

This is a required, for-credit course of the Institute of Fair Management.

Presenter: Jen Puente, Sponsorship Manager, Wisconsin State Fair – Ms. Puente has served as a presenter and moderator on sponsorship and marketing topics at the IAFE Convention, IAFE Zone 4 Meeting, IAFE Spring Seminar and multiple Wisconsin Association of Fairs conventions.

Ms. Puente is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she majored in marketing with an emphasis in music promotion. She focuses on securing, fulfilling, and maintaining more than 100 corporate sponsorships totaling more than $2 million dollars in gross sponsorship revenue for the Wisconsin State Fair. She is involved in the Wisconsin Association of Fairs and serves as the Wisconsin State Fair liaison and coordinator for the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs program.
