Schulz Named Manager of Red River Valley Fair
Bryan Schulz was recently named the manager of the Red River Valley Fair in West Fargo. Schulz has a degree in Mass Communications from North Dakota State University and has previously worked at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce of Fargo-Moorhead, the Fargodome Marketing Committee, and West Fargo Chamber of Commerce.
Schulz already has plans for the fair. Because of its location in the middle of the largest population center in the region, Schulz says the Red River Valley Fair is the idea venue for telling the food production story to urban consumers. “This year we want to bring in some new things, especially in the livestock area,” said Schulz. He hopes to partner with the North Dakota State University on setting up a birthing center. He also is planning for a dairy display that will include an actual dairy pipeline system, where visitors can watch cows being milked.
