NAAFA Holds Annual Conference in Maine
The National Association of Agricultural Fair Agencies (NAAFA) will hold its annual conference from June 1-5, 2008, at the Holiday Inn in Bangor Maine. Attendees will be welcomed by NAAFA President Fred Lunt, fair coordinator for the Maine Department of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Resources.
Delegates will tour unique fairgrounds and network with other fair officials. There will also be an opportunity to discuss how to achieve the organization’s goals in each member’s respective state. Organizers promise a busy schedule of touring, visiting with fair boards and fairgrounds in Maine, and other agriculture-related points of interest.
