Membership Contest Information | Complimentary Delegate Registration for the IAFE Convention

Recruit one new member between November 2, 2011, and November 1, 2012, to qualify for a drawing for The Gift of Travel, compliments of Coca-Cola. The Gift of Travel is a $3,000 voucher provided by Coca-Cola, and you can go ANYWHERE you want to go! Participants receive one entry into the drawing for each new member sponsored. The more new members you sponsor... the greater your chance is to win. The drawing will take place at the 2012 IAFE Convention. In addition, Coca-Cola will recognize our top 3 recruiters at the Convention in Las Vegas during a General Session. These individuals will receive plaques for their efforts. A special competition for state and provincial executives will also be held.

Our membership contest sponsor, Coca-Cola, not only understands the importance of recruiting new members to join the IAFE... but more importantly, getting new members to take advantage of IAFE networking and educational opportunities.

In addition to providing The Gift of Travel as an incentive to recruit members, Coca-Cola is offering complimentary delegate registrations to the IAFE Annual Convention and Trade Show:

• Eligibility: Must be an IAFE member fair with annual attendance of less than 100,000 and have not sent a delegate to the Annual Convention in previous years (or since 2001). Also, any fair joining as a NEW member for November 2, 2011 - November 1, 2012 receives one free delegate registration.


• What is provided: The IAFE will provide one complimentary delegate registration (does not include events which require separate paid ticket). The recipient is responsible for all travel and accommodation costs.


• What is expected: If at all possible, the recipient should plan to attend the "First Time Attendee" reception which is held late Sunday afternoon, November 25. Photos of recipients may be taken and printed in the Fairs & Expos magazine. After attending the Convention, the recipient will be asked to submit a short letter to the IAFE sharing their experience, what was learned, etc. Portions of this letter may be re-printed in future IAFE publications and promotional materials.
