Miss America 2009 – Katie Stam to appear at the IAFE Annual Convention

The first Miss America from the state of Indiana will present the first Young People's Initiative (YPI) Rising Star Award at the IAFE Annual Convention on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. The Rising Star Award has been created to recognize leadership and industry contributions of IAFE Members, age 40 and younger.

Katie Stam, a 10 year 4-H member was raised on her parents dairy farm in Seymour, Ind. During the Awards Reception, Stam will share her personal message of community service and involvement.

Show Us Your Aim – Join us on Facebook and post your best "Aim Higher" pose or video of your board and staff discussing how the IAFE Annual Convention helps them "Aim Higher."
